AliExpress disputes can be slow and buyer protection is limited, with cross-border data sharing baked in. Terms favor the platform and change frequently.
The clauses that could affect you the most. Read these even if you skip everything else.
You give Alibaba a perpetual, irrevocable, free, sub-licensable license to all content you post β and they own any derivative works.
Almost all disputes must go to individual arbitration in Hong Kong, and you waive any right to class actions in court or arbitration.
Alibaba's total liability is capped at the fees you paid that year (possibly zero) and you must file any claim within one year.
You must declare you are not a consumer, which is designed to strip you of consumer-protection and product-safety rights.
Alibaba can suspend or terminate your account and related accounts at its sole discretion with no liability for your losses.

Consumers/end users excluded entirely

βYou acknowledge that the Sites and the Services are not intended for end users or consumers.β
Services can be changed or stopped without notice
